Just Hatched!

Good lovely morning! Kind of dreary here today - no sunshine yet- and foggy - but all in all I woke up - so that is great lol!

I have a card that I made for the VSN - Virtual Stamp Night - although it was two wonderful days of stamping !!

The challenge was called Don't Get Caught Daydreaming - make a card using the Glitter Window technique - you can find the tutorial here - terribly easy and so pretty! (sorry about all the colourful links - I have ordered them all in blue, as usual, but they are not co-operating :))

I used Papertrey Ink's On The Farm Stamp Set and the chicken die - I love the sentiment and since we used to have laying hens, it was perfect for me!!

Here is a close up of all that gorgeous glitter!!

You should check out the challenges on Splitcoaststampers! They are fun and a great way to get to know people and find some new techniques!

There is a new group of challenges coming up starting October 1st and running right through until October 31st - it is called the Hope You Can Cling To Challenge - you can click on the link here or go to the top right of my blog and click on the flashing PINK blinkie to find out more information!

Dude!!

Good Morning and welcome to another Totally Stampalicious challenge!

This week we are focusing on Autumn - the gorgeous scents, textures and COLOURS of Autumn!
That's right - we want to see your Autumn colours - go for it!

I chose to use my new Bugaboo stamp called Johnny Skateboard! He is such a DUDE!

I paired Johnny Skateboard with my Simple Stories 6 x 6 paper pad called Happy Day - full of the prefect papers for Fall!

I coloured him with my copic markers, and then stamped him again onto some of the patterned paper so I could paper piece his jacket and shirt.  I kind of like how he turned out!

I am also entering this into this past weekends Virtual Stamp Night Challenge on Splitcoaststampers. It is the Back to Basics challenge - A, B, C!  Autumn, Boy and Collar or Copics or Colours - take your pick!

WMS Blog Party - I Relish Autumn!

Today I'm participating in the Waltzingmouse Blog Party- woohoo! This celebration happens on the 17th of every month!!  The theme is always announced on the Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog on the 1st of the month - so that gives you lots of time to prepare!! and lately I need it haha!

This month's theme is Fall/Autumn - using fall colors and/or fall stamps!   You will find all the details of the party here.

Since I have been canning my brains out this fall,  I decided to do a canning card!  I inked up Jar Fillers - Jam Packed with Canyon Clay ink -(to represent some kind of relish I am sure) and added the little sentiment and lid in Stamping UP Cherry Cobber.

I cut out a tag and stamped one of the Gingham backgrounds from Gingham and Co. but only on half of the tag.

Then the leaves from Big Blooms - Chrysanthemums were stamped in Terra Cotta Tile, Cherry Cobbler, and Canyon Clay, cut out and sewed onto the tag.

I added a little button with twine, some ribbon and popped it up onto my card base made of Vintage Cream, Terra Cotta Tile and patterned paper from My Mind's Eye (Indie Chic).

Nice and Fall-y!!

Okay now it's your turn to make a fall card! You have twenty four hours to link up to the blog - make sure you use at least one WMS stamp!!

Dancer......

Good Monday Morning!! Did you have a good weekend? - I certainly did - I bought myself a wee little birthday present - can you say Pandora??!! squeeeee!!

Our challenge this week at Totally Stampalicious is to make a girl birthday card or project.

I guess I wasn't listening (bad Bonnie!) during class, because I didn't do  birthday card - but I did create a girlie project!

I used Ballerina Brat -and one of the sentiments that come with it - she is one of my favorite Bugaboo stamps!  I paper pieced my little heart out using Cosmo Cricket papers.

The banner is cut with the Dienamics Banner Strip Die and stamped with the Mini Alphabet.

The cardstock and ribbon is from Stamping UP! and it is Cherry Cobbler- freaking gorgeous colour!!

Thanks for visiting today!

Ribbon Carousel meets Totally Stampalicious!!

If you are joining me from Lisa Somerville's Blog you are on the right track! If you are just joining me by accident - well - Hello!! Welcome to the Ribbon Carousel/Totally Stampalicious Blog Hop!

The talented Ribbon Carousel Crewmates are teaming up with the Design Team from Totally Stampalicious  to bring you a blog hop jam packed with crafty eye candy!  We will be helping to show off Totally Stampalicious' September release of stamps AND some ribbon and twine from the Ribbon Carousel, of course!

Now, lets talk prizes!

The Ribbon Carousel will be giving away a $20 gift certificate to the Ribbon Carousel Store and Totally Stampalicious will be giving away their 4 newly release September stamp sets!  Enjoy the hop and be sure to leave some blog love along your way to be eligible for the prizes!  Winners will be announced Saturday night at 8:00 PM EST.

Let's get started!

I have used two of our four new releases - Balloon Boy Brat and Balloon Girl Brat and both are using the delicious Ribbon Carousel ribbon!!

I stamped Balloon Boy Brat once on Copic Xpress cardstock and again on my patterned paper and pieced the patterned paper onto the balloon. Then, I coloured the whole image, patterned paper and all, with my copics adding some shading here and there.

I cut him out and popped him up onto my card background.....the lovely orange ribbon was tied at the side since I didn't want a huge bow on a masculine card.....my little thing.....

On my next card, I used the same layout, and just changed up the stamp, patterned paper and the ribbon.

Of course, I added some extra bling on Balloon Brat Girl - because I LOVE bling!!

Now, as you can see - you should be hopping on to Els Brige's Blog - and I know there is loveliness over there!!

Butterfly Wishes!

Hello - it is Monday Morning - Happy Labour Day!!

Our Totally Stampalicious Challenge is going on as usual so since today is a vacation day - maybe you have some extra time in your scrap and stamp area to join in our challenge!

This week's challenge is "Anything But a Card"  - easy!

Splitcoaststampers had a tutorial for a Foldover Bookmark, so I decided to give it a go......

and here is the finished product - isn't Bugaboo Ava Fairy just the sweetest??!!

I stamped Ava Fairy onto PTI Stampers Select white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo black ink, coloured her with copic markers and then cut her out to adhere to the front of the bookmark!

Using a white highlighter Sharpie pen, I dabbled some highlights here and there....I think it worked out just fine!

Sheer white ribbon was tied at the top and also little bit of twine to carry over the red.

I used Papertrey Ink's patterned papers - they are so nice and bright!

Here is another shot just in case you need it ;)!

Proud of You!

Good Day! I have been enjoying this last weekend of summer by golfing and canning and weeding my garden!  What a joy!

But it is back to business on Tuesday and that is exactly what my card is about today!

The sketch I am using is the Guest Designer Sketch Challenge that My Favorite Things is hosting - you can receive over $200 in Stamps and Dienamics by winning the challenge - I'd be crazy not to try it!!

Using My Favorite Things Who's That Girl Gets Down to  Business, I created this card - for a proud mama!

I also used several Dienamics - The Dienamics Skyline Border, Prima Donna Petals Dienamics, and the Mini Tabs Foursome Dienamics.....easy and fun!

I love the detail on the Prima Donna Petals Dienamics!!

With some strategic paper piecing, cutting and adhering...... it all came together quite nicely!

I finished it off with a button and twine, and some Bling - I love bling!

Well, I am headed back out to my flowers to weed - not the funnest job but the results are fabulous!!
